Our Mission
At Match Point Mission, we hope to inspire the younger generation to pick up tennis and learn the sport while helping the community at the same time. We hope to spread the love of tennis around America and in the worldWe want the kids from our camp to come out of the camp feeling more confident with their tennis abilities, learning a lot, and most importantly having fun!
About Us
MatchPointMission is more than just a tennis camp — it's a way to give back. We teach kids tennis in a fun and inclusive environment with games, matchplay, and treats. The camp runs for 1 week in summer , 2 hours/day, at Northwood High School. We donate the proceeds to a nonprofit, Orange County Rescue Mission (OCRM).

ORANGE COUNTY RESCUE MISSION (OCRM)
Orange County Rescue Mission (OCRM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless and at-risk individuals and families in Orange County, California. Its mission is to provide safe shelter, food, clothing, education, job training, and spiritual support to those in need, empowering them to transform their lives and become self-sufficient. Through programs like the Village of Hope and various transitional housing and recovery initiatives, the Rescue Mission offers a path to long-term stability, dignity, and purpose for those facing homelessness.

Hi my name is Vansh! I’m 17 and a rising senior at Portola High School. I have been playing tennis for 10 years and am on the varsity tennis team at my school. I love spending time with friends, programming, VEX robotics, and trying new foods!

Hi my name is Heer! I’m 15 and a sophomore at Beckman High School. I’ve been playing tennis for 7 years, and I am a tennis coach for Serving Advantage. Some of my favorite hobbies are hiking, debate, and playing board games!
2024 Summer Camp Recap
Match Point Mission Summer Camp 2024
This was the very first year hosting the Match Point Mission Summer camp! Our students had lots of fun throughout the week of learning tennis. In the 2024 Match Point Mission Summer camp, we were able to raise around $275 for OCRM. In the 2025 year of Match Point Mission, we hope to expand even more and raise even more money for Orange County Rescue Mission. Following the 2025 camp year, we plan on donating the money in person to OCRM. We hope our camp becomes an even more bigger success and we are able to expand the camp to include suppplemental coaches, a variety of players, and more activities.

Match Point Mission Summer Camp 2025
This is our second year running MatchPointMission. We are so happy that we had some existing students join again and had some new kids too! The kids had so much fun the past week and learned so much tennis! We are happy to say that we were able to raise $800 this year to donate to OCRM! We plan on going to OCRM and donating it in person this year! Accumulated with last year we will have raised over 1k! We hope we can raise more next year and get more coaches to join our camp too. We plan on focusing on outreach and being able to make a bigger impact! We were able to take pictures this year during the camp and have attached them below.

Orange County Rescue Mission Donation - September 10, 2025
2025 OCRM Donation
We have run MatchPointMission for two years so far and have raised over $1000! On this day, we did our first donation with the money we raised over the past two years. MatchPointMission was able to buy and donate 175 blankets with the $1000 to help support homeless families. Additionally, we also donated three bags of old clothes to help these families. MatchPointMission allows us to use our passions for tennis and really make change in the lives of other people. It makes us proud to donate to such a great organization and we are going to strive to expand MatchPointMission in the future to help as many people as we can, and hopefully try to reach people outside of the United States too.
